Our story
FairShare was born out of a frustration that millions of people share. Every time a group went out to eat, travelled together, or split monthly rent, someone had to do the awkward mental math — or worse, one person kept footing the bill and hoping the others would remember.
Existing apps either paywalled the most useful features or were cluttered with ads inside apps that handle real money. So we built something better. FairShare launched with a simple promise: every feature, for every user, free forever.
Today, FairShare is used by hundreds of thousands of people across 67 countries — from roommates splitting electricity bills in Bengaluru to travel groups calculating multi-currency expenses across Europe.
Our mission
Money conversations are uncomfortable. Chasing friends for ₹200 feels petty. Forgetting who owes what creates resentment. FairShare's mission is to remove the friction from shared finances — so the focus stays on the experience, not the accounting.
