Log an expense before your chai goes cold
Five ways to add a shared expense in seconds — without opening the app. Widget, Quick Settings tile, Siri, Back Tap. Pick what fits your life.
Friction kills expense tracking
Every extra step between "we paid" and "it's logged" is a chance for the expense to get forgotten. When logging requires opening an app, navigating to a group, and waiting for it to load — people skip it. Then they skip the next one. Then they stop altogether.
Under 5 seconds
From trigger to logged expense — faster than a UPI transaction.
No app launch
Works from your home screen, notification shade, or voice — without entering the app.
Offline-first
Saves locally, syncs when you're back online. Petrol pumps and mountain camps included.
Always accurate
Log in the moment and your group balances stay true. No month-end archaeology.
Five entry points, one tap away
Every method opens the same Quick Add sheet — just the trigger is different. Use whichever fits the moment.
Home Screen Widget
Add the FairShare widget to your home screen for a permanent one-tap Quick Add button. No unlock–navigate–wait.
Quick Settings Tile
Swipe down the notification shade and tap the FairShare tile — right alongside Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Works from any screen.

Long-press the FairShare icon on your home screen or app drawer. Tap "Quick Add" in the shortcut menu.

Made for real Indian moments
Quick Add was designed around the situations where logging an expense is most inconvenient — which is exactly when it matters most.
Dhabas & restaurants
Bill arrives, one person pays — log it before anyone stands up. Back Tap or widget, 4 seconds.
Petrol on road trips
Driver's hands are full. Passenger swipes down, taps the tile, logs ₹2,400 while the tank fills.
Grocery runs
Standing in the billing queue — widget tap, amount entered, group updated before you reach the exit.
Trek camps & remote areas
No signal? No problem. Log offline, FairShare syncs automatically when you're back in range.
Recurring flatmate bills
Maid's salary, electricity, water — log them the moment you pay, not when you remember three days later.
International travel
Siri understands dollars, euros, pounds — just speak the amount in any currency and it's converted correctly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Quick Add require an internet connection?
No. FairShare saves expenses to your device immediately and syncs when connectivity is restored. You'll never lose a log due to a bad signal.
Which group does Quick Add use?
It logs to your default group, set in FairShare Settings → Quick Add. You can change it any time. On iOS with Siri, you can also specify a group in the voice command.
Can I add a description or note?
Yes. The Quick Add sheet has an optional description field. On iOS, Siri will ask "Any description? Say skip to leave it blank" — just speak the note or say skip.
What if I need to split differently — not equally?
Quick Add splits equally by default (the most common case). For custom splits, open the expense in the app after logging and adjust the shares.
Is this available for free?
Yes. Quick Add — along with all FairShare features — is completely free with no ads and no transaction limits.
