Delete your account
We've made account deletion simpler and faster. You can now delete your account directly within the FairShare app.
- Open FairShare on your device.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
Note: For security and data integrity, you must settle all outstanding debts (money you owe or are owed) before you can delete your account. This action is immediate and permanent.
What happens next?
- Your account authentication is removed immediately.
- Your personal data (name, email, avatar) is anonymized or deleted.
- Your uploaded files (receipts) are permanently removed.
- Your historical financial data remains in groups for calculation integrity, displayed as "Deleted User".
